How To Install The Brake Upgrade Kit

Complete Step-by-Step Guide for 6-Pot Caliper Upgrade Installation

1. REMOVE O.E. CALIPER ASSEMBLY TO EXPOSE O.E. BACKING PLATE.

2. HOLD UP 6-POT CALIPER TO BACKING PLATE. USE A PAIN PEN MARK CLEARANCE CUT LINE.

NOTE: TOP IS APPROXIMATELY 40MM FROM EDGE & BOTTOM IS APPROXIMATELY 41MM FROM EDGE.

3. REMOVE BACKING PLATE FROM VEHICLE & CUT ON MARKED LINES. RE-INSTALL BACKING PLATE AND TEST FIT CALIPER. NOTE: DEPENDING ON O.E. TOLERANCES, MORE MAY HAVE TO BE TRIMMED.

4. AFTER TEST FITTING THE BACKING PLATE, CHECK TO SEE IF THE O.E. HUB CASTING IS TOUCHING THE CALIPER. IF IT IS, MARK CONTACT POINTS AND REMOVE EXCESS CASTING.
