Street Series

Street Series direct replacement rotors are ideal for drivers seeking an OE level performance upgrade.

Street Series rotors are the perfect option for drivers looking for a direct OE replacement disc rotor that is built using the highest quality manufacturing processes, materials and proven safety, thanks to DBA’s over 40 years’ experience in braking.

We give you 100% confidence in fitment every time, not a cheap inferior alternative!

We recommends Street Series for daily drivers, light commercial and SUV applications.

Features

SURFACE DESIGN – 1

Symmetrical slots and/or chamfered drill holes facilitate the exit of friction dust and gasses, for a quieter and more responsive pedal feel.

ANTI RUST – 2

Painted non-friction areas to prevent rust and enhance appearance, or full En-shield coating to protect the rotor and alleviate the need for pre-installation cleaning.

BI-DIRECTIONAL USE – 3

Symmetrical slotting and/or drilling for universal left/right use.

THERMAL EFFICIENCY – 4

Centre-split core castings for increased heat transfer and thermal efficiency.

CBN – 5

CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) machine turned finish, minimising disc thickness variation and the potential for pad “knock” and resulting premature wear.

KANGAROO PAW – 6

Unique Kangaroo Paw vane design for up to 20% better heat dissipation, increasing braking effectiveness and prolonging brake life.

Variants

EnShield

EnShield technology has been introduced to the Street Series range to provide corrosions resistant rotors, keeping the rotors looking good throughout service life.

The EnShield process begins with a zinc/aluminium water based coating being applied to the entire rotor surface and is then baked on.

EnShield rotors are denoted by the suffix (E) in Street Series part numbers.

T2

Street Series T2 rotor provides all the benefits of DBA’s Street Series direct replacement rotors with the added benefit of the introduction of DBA’s patented T2 slot design.

The T2 design features precise CNC machined bi symmetrical slots, resulting in a quieter, more responsive brake pedal feel.

The T2 increases the number of exit points, allowing friction dust and gases to escape thus enhancing the pad bite.

T2 is denoted by the suffix (S) in Street Series part numbers.

X Gold

X Gold provides all the benefits of Street Series, with a premium non-directional cross drilled and slotted design, plus an attractive gold finish on the rotor hub.

The introduction of our unique cross drilled and slotted design increases the number of exit points, allowing more brake pad friction dust and gases to escape through both the cross drilled holes and slots, resulting in better braking performance.

While providing a similar performance benefit to the T2 slot, the X Gold is a popular alternative for show cars.

X Gold is denoted by the suffix (X) in Street Series part numbers.

OEX

Street Series OEX rotors are designed for European vehicle applications, being OEM compatible replacement rotors.

Incorporating OE style cross drill patterns, slotted and cross drill patterns and/or OE slotted, cross drilled and dimpled designs.

Products can be designated at left or right-hand fitment depending upon vent design, drilling and slot configuration.

The DBA Street Series OEX rotors are bench marked for usage with DBA Street Series brake pads or DBA Street Performance brake pads.

HC

Adopting the two-piece OEM design, DBA offers its own version of a Hybrid Composite (HC) rotor, composed of a cast iron braking surface (disc ring) and an aluminium or steel hat, which are permanently bonded together by a series of rivets or through co-casting. The rotor features DBA’s own iron composition for enhancement. Its two-piece design may reduce the overall weight by up to 15% compared with a conventional one-piece rotor. Full R90 certification provides additional peace of mind.

The Street Series Hybrid Rotor range offers an attractive replacement alternative to owners of mainly high-end European vehicles.

Hybrid rotors are denoted by the suffix (HOE) in Street Series part numbers.
